I'm Guillermo Subuno — a Madrid-born creative director based in Sydney, working internationally with apparel brands, culture labels and lifestyle projects.
My work starts where most designers stop. I help brands figure out what they're really saying, who they're talking to, and how to build something that lasts beyond a single drop or campaign — through creative direction, brand strategy, product development and visual storytelling, working together as a system. I bring both the strategic vision and the technical range to take a project from concept to final execution without losing what made the idea good in the first place.
Over the past twelve years I've built brands from scratch, led creative teams, developed apparel collections and directed campaigns across fashion, music and culture. Projects I've been part of have involved brands including Vans, New Balance, Reebok, Universal Music and Jägermeister. I also founded and directed WAG1 Studio & Magazine, a cultural platform that worked with some of the most relevant names in Spanish fashion and music.
I work best with brands that have something real to say — and need a senior creative partner to help them say it.
